FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SOMEDAY COMPANY GIVES IT AWAY AT THE FRENCH QUARTER
The Nashville rock quintet Someday Company has announced that its debut performance at The French Quarter in East Nashville will be a CD giveaway night for each audience member in attendance. “These aren’t just demos made in our bedroom,” Says vocalist Mike Taylor, “these three tracks were mixed by Grammy winning engineer J.R. McNeely and are all part of our EP this is being manufactured as we speak.”
While compared to that of The Cars, The Wallflowers, Ryan Adams and Vertical Horizon, Someday Company possesses its own identity with dual front men and song hooks that leave the listener singing them for days. Surrounded by crackling production and intelligent lyrics the songwriting sets the group apart from other Nashville rock acts.
The band prides itself on building a fan base with its music. Vocalist Brain Peterson likes to point out, “It’s free to download the songs from our website. You can burn CDs of the songs and give them to your friends. We want your friends to hear our music.” The music really does travel that way. So far the group has gotten fan e-mails from the UK, Greece, and other far corners of the earth. They can be found on the world-wide web at: http://www.somedaycompany.com
